Center for Public Interest Design at the Portland State University School of Architecture
Todd Ferry is Associate Director of the Center for Public Interest Design at the Portland State University School of Architecture. His work investigates how social needs can be addressed by architecture in under-served communities. Recent projects include community centers, transit stations, affordable housing and innovative micro-housing efforts serving homeless communities. Todd incorporates this work into teaching design studios, seminars and design-build coursework while also coordinating the University’s Graduate Certificate in Public Interest Design.
