Jonathan is a practicing architect and community organizer in Chicago. He works with two small women-owned architecture firms on Chicago’s north side. On nights and weekends he is organizing Chicago’s west side communities with the intention of opening an apprentice-model design school staffed by youth and community members. His work focuses on building links between political analysis and design practice. He holds Master of Architecture and Master of Urban Design degrees from Kent State University.
