Prior to launching the OAC Garrett led programs at Code for America. Initially managing a national network of government staff working to improve public service and running government relations in their Fellowship program. In 2015 Garrett facilitated 30 global chapters in the co-creation of the legacy organization of Architecture for Humanity. He has an M. Arch from Tulane University, was selected as a 2016 Next City Vanguard and named in Impact Design Hub’s 40 under 40.
