Undesign the Redline, a project of Designing the We, is a traveling, interactive exhibition that explores the history and current impacts of structural inequity from a design perspective. Participants are invited to interact with stories and envision future strategies for undoing these inequities.

During this Gallery Talk and Panel discussion, we’ll unpack some of the rich content in the Undesign the Redline exhibition including the history of redlining and structural racism in Baltimore City. We’ll also explore how we might “undesign the redline” from within and beyond the power structures that put them in place.
