Filmmaker Maisie Hughes hosts a workshop about her upcoming documentary series, Thou Shalt Not Trespass (2019) which explores feelings of belonging or exclusion in urban landscapes. The web series will capture the reactions and impressions of diverse DC residents in reaction to five District landscapes embedded in communities beyond the monuments.

Participants will learn first-hand about Maisie’s research, approach, treatment, and techniques and get a preview of the rich and unexpected content she’s already captured.

This project is part of the Landscape Architecture Foundation’s Fellowship for Innovation and Leadership, a unique program that supports professionals as they develop and test new ideas that will drive the future of the landscape architecture discipline.
